FIFA 23 Content Review: A Disappointing Experience
FIFA 23 has been out for some time now, and it's safe to say that the latest content from EA has left many fans disappointed. The content could be more robust, with many packs offering players overpriced and underwhelming cards, as well as objectives that require too much of an investment. In this article, we will take a closer look at some of the recent content that EA has released and the issues with them.
- Fut Birthday Foundations Pack: An Absolute Waste
- Objectives: No New Content
- SBCs: Overpriced and Underwhelming
- Packs: Terrible Value
- Conclusion: EA Needs to Improve
Fut Birthday Foundations Pack: An Absolute Waste
The Fut Birthday Foundations Pack is one of the latest offerings from EA. This pack offers players a chance to get a walkout, some good fodder for whatever SBCs are available, and potentially a good player.
Unfortunately, this pack is an absolute waste. Every time you open it, it seems like. You get Casemiro's instead of Pasina's. The pack's value is significantly lower than its cost, and it's just not worth investing in.
Objectives: No New Content
The Objectives are another area where EA needs to improve. The Centurions objectives are still there, and there is no new content for players to enjoy. The lack of new objectives means that players have already completed them, and they are left with nothing new to work towards.
SBCs: Overpriced and Underwhelming
Pedro and Radio Showdown is an SBC that requires an 86-rated squad for a single segment and only gives a bronze player. The Rabiot loan is grossly overpriced at 35k, and while it has its uses, it is not worth the investment.
Pedro, on the other hand, is a legitimate card with a 5-star 5-star outside the foot shot trait and finesse shot trait. However, he comes in at a steep price of 113k, making him inaccessible to most players.
Packs: Terrible Value
The 380+ Players Pack and the 585+ Players Pack both offer terrible value. Trading 11 rares for three rares that are just as terrible is not worth the investment. The Electrum Players Pack, on the other hand, is basically free but requires an insane time investment, making it not actually worth it.

Conclusion: EA Needs to Improve
EA needs to catch up on the plot when it comes to their content for FIFA 23. The recent content could be more robust, with many packs offering players overpriced and underwhelming cards, as well as objectives that require too much FUT23 Coins investment. EA needs to take note of this and make some changes in the future. We will see improvements in the next content release, and fans will be able to enjoy the game once again.
