Unlock Your Shooting Potential: Exploring the Shooting Badges
Let's get started. The first category of badges is the Shooting category. The first badge I'm going to talk about is Volume Shooter. This badge is Tier 1 on every single build. What Volume Shooter does is gives you a small boost in your green window after you take five or six shots. It's great for guard builds who take a lot of shots per game.
The next budget badge is Claymore. Claymore is Tier 1 for every build six foot ten and under and Tier 2 for builds six foot eleven and taller. This badge is only for a spot-up build. If you sit in any spot for more than four seconds, you get a boost to your green window. Silver and Gold are the same, so stay away from Gold.
A must-have badge is Amped. You get it Tier 1 on build six and taller, and Tier 2 on build six five and shorter. It gives you a boost to your green window when you're low on stamina or adrenaline. I need a recommendation for what tier to put Amped on. It depends on how it goes with your jump shot.
The next badge is Midi Magician. Midi Magician is Tier 1 on every single build. It helps with fadeaways, pull-up shots and spin shots. It also helps with normal standing shots. It's worth it on Hall of Fame if you take a lot of mid-ranges.
Unlock Your Playmaking Potential: Exploring the Playmaking Badges
In the Playmaking category, the first badge is Ankle Breaker. Ankle Breaker is Tier 1 on every single height. It increases your chance of getting an ankle breaker on your opponent. Higher tiers increase your chances even more. Pair it with Dribbling Pool for more ankle breakers.
The next badge is Dimer. Dimer is Tier 1 for building six foot nine and below and Tier 3 for building six foot ten and taller. When you pass to your teammate, who shoots right after you pass it, he gets a boost in his green window. Having it on either Gold or Hall of Fame is worth it.
Needle Threader is the next badge. Tier 1 on build six seven and shorter, and Tier 2 on build six eight through six nine. It helps you throw fewer turnovers. Hall of Fame is worth it if you can get it in Tier 1.
The last Playmaking badge is Brake Starter. Brake Starter is Tier 1 for building six foot nine and below and Tier 2 for building six foot ten and above. After you grab a rebound and pass it down the court, the passes are more accurate. It's worth it on Hall of Fame and Gold.
Unlock Your Defensive Potential: Exploring the Defensive Badges
For Defensive badges, the first badge is Workhorse. Workhorse is Tier 1 on build six foot six and above and Tier 2 on build six foot five and below. It helps you get more steals after you knock the ball free. It's best to have it in the Hall of Fame.
Next is Menace. Menace is Tier 1 for those who build six foot nine and taller and Tier 2 for built six foot eight and shorter. If you stay in front of your opponent and play good defence, their attribute ratings will drop by one point, depending on the tier. Have it on Hall of Fame for a four-point drop.
The last Defensive badge is Box Out Beast. Box Out Beast is Tier 1 for building six foot nine and under and Tier 2 for building six foot ten and above. It's a combination of the two badges from 2K22. Have it as high as possible, as it's a must-have badge for big men.
Unlock Your Finishing Potential: Exploring the Finishing Badges
In the Finishing category, the first badge is Giant Slayer. Giant Slayer is Tier 1 on every single height. It gives you an increased chance to make layups if you shoot a layup over a taller defender. It's worth it on the Hall of Fame by a mile.
The last budget Finishing badge is Drop Stepper. Drop Stepper is Tier 1 for building six foot eleven and below and Tier 2 for building seven feet above. It increases your shot percentage and gives you a better animation for the drop step. Have it as high as you can if you're a big man.
